Hi Scott - remember Ken Knapp and us at Sedona several years ago?

Mike and Jan Salerno

May 13, 2010

Hi Scott - we met last week in Sedona outside the Canyon Breeze Coffee shop. I am the guy with the family band called "Stage Fright"

I have listened to both of your albums and I am quite impressed. Your first album touched me very deeply and I can't explain why. I guess that is the power in your music.

Here is the web link to a folk music center here in Denver http://swallowhill.com/. If you ever come to town I would enjoy seeing you again and Swallow Hill would benefit from your talent.

We talked 4/8 about your music and my workshops. And I would like to contact you if I revive my shops with people I have trained over the years. I believe I will do that and maintain my school trainings that are designed to teach people how to bring out the best in themselves and others. Your music fits marvelously well. Magnificent and uplifting as well as instructive. Here for 2 months and will see you again.

Scott,
Saw you in Sedona this Summer with my daughter, bought "I Have Seen the Light." Tonight, I said goodbye to a beautiful woman, because my heart has gone to a shining spirit in Kansas. And I came home, this weekend after Thanksgiving, to eat alone, but with love in my heart. My hand found your CD on first reach into a container I had not yet unpacked from my latest trip, and every song spoke to what I am feeling in my life right now.
Who knows why we do these things? Why I chose to sit and listen to you, and to buy that CD ... why these life experiences found you to sing about them ... and tonight, they all came together.
Thank you for sharing the truth of your spirit. Keep shining on.

I just found you..... wow! Thank you for allowing your spirit to reach out, this is what you were meant to do here. Connect us to the divine. I came upon Gypsy Soul a year or so ago, so it doesn't surprise me you know them as well.

Spirit sings...... keep trusting.

Thank you for the sweet sharing of your precious heart in song, Scott. Your voice and the music you write and carry is trully Blessed with the sweet warmth and glow of Angellic presence.

I came to Sedona for a much needed rest from the daily gruelling of life in the metropolis of Phoenix and healing from being recently widowed last year. You presented your heart in music that allowed me to see and feel beyond the rawness I had within to reach a serenity of self - a much needed watering for a parched, arid inner self.

I have your CD on my car CD and traveled home feeling the music scores gently soothe and renew what I thought was trully lost inside. Even Sasha , my Border Collie, let your music be a sweet lullaby and she slept the entire way home which she has never been able to do in 7yrs. May your wonderful music grow unbounded and reach the heights you have only dreamed of, and I pray the music you share fulfills beyond any thing you can hope or dream for.

I hope I may have the treasure of sitting in front of you again and experiencing the wonder of the inspirational healing you so unselfishly share in your music. You are trully a tremendous blessing in our day and time and a maestro Songbird of Sedona.

I am Native American by birth, French Canadian Algonquin Kitcisakik Tribe from Vallee d'OR, Grand Lac Victoria, Quebec, though tragically separated from my parents by abduction in Oct 55 at the age of 2 1/2; yet I carry my heritage of my people in my heart, and your music touched and soothed a long time aching Spirit within. Thank you for being you and sharing the sweetness of gentle life within, sharing your precious music.
God Bless you and your family,

Scott - When we heard the song you wrote and sang about your dad - it brought tears to both of us. Thanks so much for sharing your dream. It was a special treat to meet you. Thanks for living the life you love and loving the life you live...... You are special!

Hi Scott,

Thank you! I had a great time visiting your site ... looks good, and sounds
great! It does seem that your new webhost provides a more user-friendly
format. Beautiful artwork on your new CD, too!

I enjoyed the music ... "The Legend of Willie Benbo" is magical and
beautiful. And I was really enjoying the guitar playing on all of the songs
on the new album ... but especially on "Shooting Star." One of the things I
really love about acoustic guitar music is the sound of fingers sliding on
the strings ... you know, not the notes, exactly, but the underlying sound
of the physical actions. I can really hear that on that song. And I like the vocal harmonies on some of the songs. I personally love singing harmonies with others, and enjoy that interplay of voices when listening.

I really enjoyed seeing the pictures. Good to see my friend Roxanne and
her son Casner there ... Gypsy Soul, one of my favorite bands -- I just love that guy's guitar work! And there is JOHNSMITH!! I just love that guy. Met him several years ago through my friend Lucia and her partner Mike.

I read your biography ... and I had to laugh at the mental image I got
of you singing/playing ZZTop ... maybe "Sharp Dressed Man"? Seems so
incongruous with what you are doing now! I do love lots and lots of rock
from the 50's on -- and rootsy music of many types. But it's funny how our
focus changes!

I'd love to hear about your travels, if you should decide to write about
them. Thanks for the tour! It's wonderful to hear from you ... and to hear you!

Blessings,
Cathryn

Scott,

The new CD is quite wonderful. It kept me company on my travels throughout New Mexico these last two weeks, along with fairies, elves, dragons, princesses - they all came to life through your storytelling. It was a joy to record with you last year. "I've seen the Light," has touched many Souls on their spiritual path and I'm sure awakened many more.

Someday you'll have to come and visit our new studio in Alto, NM - quite an enchanting place all to itself. The web site is cool! the hawk practically flies right off the screen, the photos are great as well, and what key did you say that water was in? Lol
Take care my brother, YOU ROCK!!!!!
